Our client has an e-commerce platform where he wanted a virtual assistant to enhance customer support that can understand and effectively respond to customer inquiries.

Data Collection:

  • A diverse dataset of customer inquiries has been gathered from various channels such as email, chat transcripts, and social media messages that included:
    • FAQs
    • Complaints

  • Acquired additional text data related to the client's products, and services to enrich the virtual assistant's knowledge base.

NLP for Intent Recognition:

  • Seaflux leveraged natural language understanding (NLU), one of the NLP techniques, to develop an intent recognition model and classify customer inquiries into different categories (e.g., product inquiries, order tracking, refunds).
